After a long, long and arduous winter, the blossom of Spring seems all the more spectacular...As the sight of green grass quenches one's soul after a trek thru the desert, a hug after a bout of loneliness, water after a drought...

These wonderful things appear all the richer turning a bland black and white slate to crimson.  It is so marvelous to see these amazing, growing things sprout up and enrich our world! A lovely little gift of Spring I discovered on a bicycle ride through a local neighborhood.  It seems all the more rich and beautiful after a long, cold winter! Brownie points to whom ever can name this flower!
