Vanquished...

At the very moment he realized he had vanquished her completely...an unexpected grief, a panic even, crushed his soul as he realized she was gone...and by his own hand...Was there any hope to revive her ephemeral beauty? What tore at his heart most was that she would never know who he was or why he had to do this...A masked, cloaked black demon who had slain her...Just who was he? Yet even he did not know all...for she was yet to surprise him. even in death...The White Goddess...may yet awaken...
